I had the pleasure of seeing April George open up for Goldlink on his North American At What Cost tour, which led me to find April + Vista. Singer/songwriter April and producer mattVISTA make up this experimental R&B dynamic duo. Their balancing use of futuristic soundscapes with April’s sonically piercing, yet soothing vocals make for a magical listening experience. The DMV duo is expected to release a new project sometime in 2018.
