Rocky B is an up-and-coming rapper from my hometown, Detroit, and has had a spike in attention since dropping her Molly Brazy diss Vindictive, a song that displayed just how raw and talented she really is. Her delivery is powerful and most importantly, I believer every single word she says. After watching an interview and gaining insight into her past and personal life, you understand a little more the fearlessness that comes through so effortlessly in her music. Her freestyle over Lil Baby’s Freestyle is my favorite release from her so far. She is definitely a standout in the pool of talented artists the city is pushing out these days, and I can’t wait to see just how far she goes.
